"The Viceroy And The Queen" by Debbie Oppermann. I was thrilled to capture this beautiful Viceroy Butterfly, Limenitis archippus, resting on the delicate, lacy Queen Anne's Lace wildflower with the rocky shallows of the blue Speed River Guelph Ontario Canada in the background. The combination of the gorgeous butterfly, the white wildflower and the blue and brown river shallows fit together perfectly for a wonderful nature image.
